| The hotel grounds are designed in a striking natural setting, surrounded by native flora and including a waterfall. The hotel is environmentally responsible with an operational philosophy that instills the highest standards of conservation and preservation. The hotel staff is able to aid guests with any needs that they may have got. The Doubletree Grand Key Resort is one-half mile from the beach and ocean. But, the resort operates a complimentary shuttle to their Beach Club on Smather's Beach. An attendant at the club provides a chair, umbrella and towels. Boat rentals, volleyball, snorkeling and a broad variety of other beach activities are available. Guest rooms all have a casually elegant cottage décor and offer ample amenities, such as as ceiling fans, as good as individual climate control. High speed Internet access (via the TV or your laptop), in-room movies, Sony Playstation, a mini-bar are too standard. The bathrooms have a separate full bath and lavish. Room service is available from morning until late in the evening. The resort features a het Pool, an outside Jacuzzi, and an exercise Room. The onsite Palm Haven Restaurant offers Inside and out-of-door dining. Outside, at that place's a poolside Bar and likewise a lounge indoors. Transport to the airport and golf club is complimentary. A concierge on staff is available to aid with all reservations needs including water sports, diving, fishing etc. The Doubletree Grand Key Resort is just minutes from fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues. There will be a $10.00 per room, per day, incident charge collectible direct to the hotel. This covers guest parking and transportation to the Key West Airport, the Historical Old Town, the Key West Golf Course and the hotel's beach club, as good as most marinas.
